Universal Horror Month!
I bid you welcome...
It’s Universal Horror Month!
Throughout the month of June, I will be watching and reviewing four classic Universal horror movies. I posted a Note about it back in February inviting everyone to join in if they want to, as well as a reminder in May, and got a good response to both, so hopefully you’re all still on board!
I do have a few guidelines for those who plan to participate, though:
Write about as many or as few movies as you want. Only want to do one? Cool. Four, like me? Also cool. Eight? Awesome! It’s totally up to you.
Movie overlap is fine. If everyone ends up writing about the same film (Dracula, for example), it’s no problem.
Be sure to tag me when you post your reviews so I can read them!
I guess the only rule here is: Have fun!
Now, onto the movies I’ve chosen to write about, which are:
Dracula (1931)
Frankenstein (1931)
The Mummy (1932)
The Old Dark House (1932) (collab with Hellish Views - Harry Evans, yeah!!)
These are all first time watches for me. I know, I know, how have I not at least seen Dracula, but I’m fixing it now, okay? 😂
So yeah, that’s it, just wanted to post a quick intro to this project and see how many of you are still interested in it. And if you are, let me know in the comments which films you plan to write about!

Going to do Creature from the Black Lagoon, a favorite of mine!
Looking forward to this, I just might write about Dracula depending on when you do.
